Finalist German Smart Business Award 2013

With the DU. com Initiative scoutet and the Stiftung der deutschen Wirtschaft für Arbeit und Beschäftigung (SWAB) promotes international start-ups, innovation projects and entrepreneurs on behalf of the German economy. The aim is to link innovation drivers operating independently and internationally with the German economy as early as possible. Young entrepreneurs are offered access to the capital, network and know-how of the "Old Economy". An excellent panel of experts nominates the winner for the "GERMAN SMART BUSINESS AWARD".
Success:
Virtenio was awarded as finalist of the German Smart Business Award. This makes Virtenio one of the top 9 startups in the competition organized by SWAB in cooperation with the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung.
2012

inners WECONOMY 2012

Since 2007, the "Wissensfabrik und Handelsblatt" (knowledge factory and Handelsblatt) founders' competition has presented the WECONOMY Award once a year to Germany's best start-ups. A top-class network weekend and an exchange of ideas on one's own business idea with ten top managers from well-known companies will be won. The jurors will examine the companies' applications for consistency of the business idea, entrepreneurial thinking, innovation potential and motivation of the founders.
Success:
Virtenio is the winner of the WECONOMY 2012 start-up competition and convinced with its business concept and jury presentation.

Winner Business Plan Competition Berlin-Brandenburg

The Business Plan Competition Berlin-Brandenburg (BPW) is the largest and most successful regional start-up competition in Germany and a successful instrument in the planning phase of a start-up. The participants in the BPW have so far founded more than 1,300 companies and thus created almost 6,000 jobs in the capital region. The Berlin-Brandenburg Business Plan Competition has produced numerous prizewinners with innovative business ideas in the areas of service and technology.
Success:
Virtenio GmbH wins the business plan competition Berlin-Brandenburg 2011 in the important category "Technology" and was able to convince in the business plan as well as the presentation.

2010

Grand Prize Winner of the Founders' Contest IKT Innovative

The German Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology (BMWi) supports business start-ups in which innovative information and communication technology is a central component of the product or service with the start-up competition - ICT Innovativ. The competition is held every six months.
Success:
Virtenio GmbH is awarded by the BMWi and VDI/VDE-IT and is one of the main prize winners in the first competition of its kind for technology companies. Virtenio GmbH was able to assert itself nationwide against 333 competitors.

StartUp-Label of the Technical University Berlin

The Technical University of Berlin (TUB) awards a StartUp-Label for selected, primarily technology-oriented TU companies. The prerequisites for the use of the StartUp label are that the user is a foundation with know-how from the TUB and that the founders, students, graduates, employees or alumni of the TUB are. The business idea and business plan must be sound and promising and the founding team must have entrepreneurial skills.
Success:
Virtenio GmbH, a spin-off of the Technical University from science and research, would be awarded with its business idea and business plan. Virtenio GmbH is particularly indebted to the Technical University and especially to the foundation service.
2009

EXIST Founder Scholarship

The EXIST start-up scholarship supports students, graduates and scientists from universities and non-university research institutions who wish to turn their founding idea into a business plan. These should be innovative, technology-oriented or knowledge-based start-up projects with good prospects of economic success. The EXIST-Gründerstipendium is a funding programme of the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology and is co-financed by the European Social Fund.
Success:
The founding team Virtenio receives the EXIST start-up grant from the BMWi in its first attempt with its convincing technical and business concept paper.
