The microcontroller used on the Preon32 radio module provides a large number of internal ADCs (Analog-to-Digital Converters). After an appropriate configuration, analog voltage values can be recorded at the connection contacts of the microcontroller. In this example for the PreonVM, a channel of an ADC is selected, of which 100 values are acquired at a time interval of 50ms from each other. The measured values are then normalized to a voltage of 0.0V to 3.3V using a resolution of 12-bit (4096) and then stored in a memory area.
