The EXIST start-up scholarship supports students, graduates and scientists from universities and non-university research institutions who wish to turn their start-up idea into a business plan.

These should be innovative technology-oriented or knowledge-based start-up projects with good prospects of economic success. The EXIST start-up grant is a support programme of the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology and is co-financed by the European Social Fund.
