“Working and Living in Digital Change – Together.innovatively.self-determined” was the main theme of the 8th National IT Summit, at which Virtenio was once again able to present itself in the Young IT Lounge. The Berlin-based company was able to make contact with politics, established companies, institutions and science. In addition to Federal Chancellor Dr. Merkel, the Federal Minister of Economics Sigmar Gabriel also visited the lounge. In particular, the topics discussed at the summit under the keyword Industry 4.0 – digital networking of industry or networked production – were of the greatest relevance to the Berlin ICT start-up due to the company’s orientation and confirmed the innovative potential of its own products and solutions. Virtenio was also able to urgently support political and scientific demands for better and concrete cooperation between established companies and start-ups. Virtenio was able to discuss improved approaches and direct possibilities with Prof. Dr. Willem Jonker, CEO of EIT-ICT Labs, who also support young companies such as Virtenio in these areas.
